About The Sweet Baker

My name is Danielle, the proud owner of this Cottage Food Business. The Sweet Baker is a small, family run, customized-for-you bakery in Killingworth, CT. Officially opening its doors in June of 2020, the owner has been baking cakes, cupcakes, and cookies for years, perfecting her skills by baking for friends and family. My treats make the perfect treat or gift for any occasion. All orders are 100% custom and created based on your theme and any special requests!

Since she was a little girl, The Sweet Baker always had a love for cooking, especially baking. Culinary Arts teachers saw her potential early on. Her baking and decorating skills earned her awards from the American Culinary Federation and the Connecticut Cake Competition, including several ribbons in multiple categories.

Her love for baking and decorating cakes brought her to the Connecticut Culinary Institute, where she studied Baking and Pastry. 

Finally, after dreaming of this opportunity since she was a young girl, The Sweet Baker can share her passion with you to help make your event more memorable with unforgettable desserts.
